Had a great shoot recently with the lovely Rachael. I wanted to concentrate on doing some natural light photography and experiment a little and was very pleased when Rachael agreed to be my subject.
Armed with only a camera and reflector for most of the shots, we worked in a small area in the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
Considering the time of year, it was really warm and the leaves were still mostly green! Should have waited another week or two, they went to reds and yellows pretty soon afterwards, but then the wind picked up and all the colour was lost again.
Rachael was wonderful to work with, not just because she is beautiful and knows how to pose well, but also because she was a lot of fun. I think we spent as much time laughing as working, which can't be bad.
If you'd like to see more of Rachael's work, check out her online portfolio here.

I was delighted when Michelle asked me if I would photograph her and "bump". At 36 weeks, it won't be long until we get to meet the baby and call him or her by name. :)
Really like these in B&W. And just for fun...
Having two layers of netting creates some interesting patterns.
Check back in a few weeks and maybe there will be some baby photos for you to look at!
