After the engagement session, I was really looking forward to this wedding. Sue and Damon are a lovely couple with a wonderful sense of humour so I knew it would be a fun day.
It was an early start at the bride's home to get photos of the dress, shoes and accessories before Sue got ready. Then off to the groom's parents house for some shots of Damon and his best man. Then in to Portsmouth to catch Sue's arrival...
After the ceremony we took a trip to Staunton Country Park for some special photos of the couple.
We didn't have long though, because the guests were waiting to see the newly married couple at the reception.

Every year, for the last four years, Scott Kelby has organised a photo walk. Not just any photo walk though... Thousands of people, in hundreds of cities around the world, walk and take photos. Just for fun.
Everyone uploads their photos to a Flickr group meaning that this one group contains a snapshot of the world from one particular day. Well, almost, this year the walks were spread over two days. :)
The last couple of years our group, lead by Barry, has walked along the seafront from the hover port in Southsea, through old Portsmouth to the Spinnaker tower.
This year we visited Emsworth and walked around the mill pond.
The photo above was taken looking back at Emsworth from the pond wall.
Another change this year was the date. Previous walks have been held in mid July but, since it is rather hot in some places in July it was moved to October this year. Would you believe it, we had pretty much the hottest start to October on record!
But it was a lovely way to spend a morning and I am already looking forward to next year.
